I have plowed snow for several years, mostly small to medium parking lots and commercial properties. This year I will be doing work for a subcontractor plowing streets here in NYC. I have a Fisher 8' HD plow and do not want to wear out my cutting edge on every storm as the areas I have to cover are quite large. Should I use my anti wear shoes or keep the plow off the street an inch?

Put the shoes back on just above the cutting edge this way the edge will wear down a little to the shoes
