My local quarry sells anti skid for 8 bucks a ton.
Is anti skid mixed with salt a good combo?
Last year I spread salt and sand mixture by hand and was buying it retail in bags. The retail price of one bag of sand 80 lbs was like 4 bucks and salt was like 6 bucks for 5o lbs.

This year I will spreading with a Western Proflo2.

around here the City will not allow sand or grits to be put down on any lot with a sewer drain, clogs up systems

I buy through my local farm supply store. They have a regular delivery route and will deliver free a pallet or more.
