Is the rest of the truck beat up? That price for an 06 sounds pretty good to me. Have truck prices really fell that much?

I would stay far away from that truck. The cosmetic condition tells me the owner didnt maintain the truck and beat it up preety bad The mechanical condition is probly close to the condition of the body.

Offer 9 for it. You can pickup a new box at the scrap yard or make it a flatbed.

Id go for it. Even if you have to do some work on it it is still a good deal. Is it going to be just you plowing this winter or is your brother going to join you? If it's gonna be both of you having two trucks will definatley come in handy, not to mention how much more work you can pick up.

The rest of the truck is NOT like that. I think the dealer offered him $8500, I think I'll offer $9500 and see what he says.

Colin, my bro is only 15. Not even a permit yet. This truck is just a thought........

This one is a dark green. But if we get ALOT of snow this winter like some are saying I'll get my dad out plowing or one of my friends w/ the '99. Hell dad may even get a plow for his '07 Dodge and just do some commercial stuff.

I would rather plow with this truck vs. the '99. Maybe get a salter for the dump insert in the '99 and use it for a salt truck / emergency plow truck.
