Was bored today and looking around at some of the pics here on plow site and seen another home made back and remembered that i had i length of 2x2 laying at my shop. I made a rack before for my 06 duramax that i rushed together and didnt want to do that to this one.
Grabbed some d rings, put the up rights at the top corners of the cab, and tomorrow im going to put a plate up there for my new strobe light when it comes in. let me know what you think. i still have to prime and paint it yet.

looks like a good start, would have to see it on the truck to make a more accurate assumption on how it will look.

Or some of the steel mesh type stuff. I know if I built a backrack for my K20, which I've been thinking about doing, I'd put something in there to stop from putting a ladder or a 2x4 or whatever through that back window.

Looks good, overall. Please post pics when you have it mounted.

Looking good, i agree with the idea of putting something in the middle to protect your glass a bit better.

I like the idea of using the angle iron across the top,

its not on there in that pic but i have a go light that gets mounted on there. i have 4 corner 60 watt strobes in the truck as well. i like the the way the rotators light everything up. didnt want the thing to look like a tow truck lol
