i have a 9ft mm 1 and the angle cylinders keep getting stuck when i angle it almost all the way to the left or right. should i use some type of grease or oil to prevent this or is there some way to put some stops on the cylinders so they stop before they get stuck?

I would weld stops on the frame near pivot point ,possibly, to prevent blade travel

Something isn't right with that plow, if its binding up enough that the cylinders can't push it properly. I would try to find where its jamming up and repair it rather than just cover up the problem.

I have a 9' Boss straight blade that seemed to hang up when angled hard right. Turned out to be a loose wire that once in awhile wouldnt allow the blade to angle.

    Just a thought

OK typically this is seen on meyer units. The pivot pin hole wears a little and changes the geometry creating a bind in the angle pivot. the solution is to add a 1/2 inch block to each side.

Before I did anything else I'd check the unit for a broken pivot mount it could be either the Aframe or Quadrant. If it is all intact angle until it binds, disconnect the hydraulic hoses and see if the unit will angle manually. If so than you have a control/hydraulics problem, if not than you need to disconnect the rams. If it moves look to improper rams, worn bolts, etc.

Hope that gets it fixed for you Pete. My only thought which wasn't discussed yet would be in the actual couplers. We bought a bad batch one time. Could be a faulty coupler, but if you haven't changed them recently I would think you would be okay.
