wanting to redo the fluid on 6 western ultra and uni-mounts but don't want to spend $5 per quart for the western brand fluid.

i know atf will work down to a certain temp, but i really doon't want to find out what that temp is the hard way.

what other fluid works well? what classifications or labeling should i look for?

    thanks

Is it the SEHP type hydrolic simialar to Fisher? If it is. A Mercron,Dextron3. That's all I've used for my Fisher.

Dextron3 is what I just put in mine and recommended by western, there are a few other choices in the back of the hydraulic manual take a look.
