The control box lights up. I hope its not a burned up motor!!!

I just had the same problem. Open up the control box and check to see that you are getting power through the on off switch. My switch was bad. I was in the middle of an ice storm and just made a jumper to keep it going until I can get a new switch. Hope this helps.

The switch lights as well. There is just nothing in the window and the motor wont turn I can't hear anything either. And yes there is salt in the box.

Try turning the power on then jump out of the truck and spin it by hand to get it going. Might just be gunked up with rust. If that doesn't work try hooking up the spreader directly to the battery, bypassing the controller, and see if it works. If not, it's the motor. If so it something in the controller.

Yes, the light on the switch lit up when mine went bad. I will get you some pics tomorrow on what to check. I would bet it is the switch. If it were the motor, I believe you would still get the numbers in the window. That is why I say it is the switch.

Looks like it was the control.

    Was it the power switch?

Not sure we just jumped the motor with a battery and when we did that it spun just fine.

Did you just drill out the rivets and slap a new switch in there from snowex?
