First time user of the FF and coated the F350 with almost 3/4 of gallon. The material seems fairly light and I'm curious if your better off not washing down the truck during the winter months as you could wash away your FF corrosion protection?...Any ideas or thoughts from the long time users/Dano?

I wash my vehicles often during the winter. I will re-apply if an area looks like it needs it tho.

Im sure the FF would come off slightly in the snow/rain anyways...

Unless you are pressure washing it off, a light wash down will not remove all the product.

I coated my frame with FF, and i went and washed my truck the next day. The FF was still there.

Thanks! I will stick with the garden hose until spring and then power wash and reapply.
