Can anyone let me know how to adjust the drop speed on my hiniker scoop plows. I looked in manual and couldn't find any info. One of them drops nicely while the other bangs pavement pretty good.

    Thanks for info!

Look for "quill" in the manual and diagrams; that's what is adjusted to change the drop speed.

Whoa I was not questioning your reply. I have never heard of the term was all I was stating. On our boss plow and even some other westerns I have experience with I'm familiar with the adjustments. Just wasn't sure on these hinikers.

I googled hiniker and quill and came up with nothing...checked manual again and don't see anything about it either. I did find quill adjustment info on western plows when googled.

Anyone else with hinikers have any insight?
