I have a 3 yr old western unimount/ electric pump plow. Just installed a new pump and motor,,the thing flies now,,but i am wondering how to get it to drop faster. Also is there a manuel out for these pumps or a web page with info on it ? No one in the area carries any type of manuel for these pumps.

    Thanks

    Keith

Can't help you specifically, however www.westernplows.com is Western's web site and there is a "Troubleshooting Guide", at the bottom of which is shown a part number for Unimount Mechanic's Guide: P/N 21936, available from "Your Western Outlet".

There is also a "Distributor Directory" on their site, hopefully there's a "Your Western Outlet" not too far away.

Hope this can be of some help.

if you turn out the quill screw it will drop faster. It is a slot head screw on the top of the valve body.
