I have a 99 2500 crew cab short bed with the 5.7 and 160,000 miles. It currently has a boss 7'6'' poly plow on it with the original smart hitch. Over the past year I have done the following work to it. It was my grandfathers truck and it has sat for the past couple of years, he left it to me and it needed all of this!!

    - New interstate batteries (dual)
    - Replaced intake manifold gasket
    - Replaced oil cooler lines
    - New heavy duty alternator (140 amp)
    - New plugs, wires, fuel filter
    - New fuel pump
    - New master cylinder
    - New pads, rotors, calipers, and adjusted drums in the rear
    - New shocks front and rear
    - Added timbrens (front and rear)
    - New water pump and belts
    - New exhaust system
    - New 4x4 actuator
    - replaced all fluids with synthetic and the rear seal
