I am going to install a unimount on my 98 2500 hd. I should pull the fuse for the air bag correct?
    I also have a story
I found a unimount rack for a 94 chevy on CL but the guy wouldnt sell it to me cause my truck had an air bag. He stated the rack was for a non air bag truck. I said whah??? I said its the same rack all the way up to 98 with or with out an air bag. Am I nuts or is this guy nuts HAHA

    thanks much

I wouldn't ever pull a air bag fuse. All the trucks I have plowed with have had air bags and I have never had a issue.

If you hit something hard enough to deploy the airbag, I'd think you'll be glad it went off. And to hit something that hard I doubt it will be while plowing snow.
