98 455 Suburban - check engine light

    Pulled the code, it is showing the following: P0122 MOD $10 1 of 1, TPS/Pedal Position sensor A, Circuit low input.

    I am assuming TPS is throttle position sensor: at least that what I recall it to mean. I am thinking of replacing it but, the low imput leads me to believe it might be something else causing the problem.

    The truck runs ok. It will surge once in a while and run rough at times. Sometimes it seems like shifting is affected.

    Any comments would be helpfull.

    try pulling it out and cleaning it before you run out and buy another one.
