New to the forum but have looked for a while. Had a beater/rotted 94F250 that I would plow my lot and driveway with, junk but served its purpose. Just got a clean 97 F250, got a new mount kit 7128 from a dealer that had it sitting around for a while but never used for $350, but it was missing the hanger plates which were the only salvageable pieces of the old truck. I went to install it tonight and realized they were different. They bolted onto the frame, lower angle brace fit, but instead of having angle that the hanger plates bolt to it has flat bar. Can I just modify the hanger brackets or is there more to it? Thanks, Jon
