Anybody running an older unimount MVP on an F550 or similar? I just installed one on an 06' F550 a 9'6" and the freaking thing only lifts about 6" off the ground, before bottoming out on the frame. Something just doesn't seem right. It looks like I can shorten the "arms" that hold the head gear and bring it back into the truck a little move to gain clearance, but thats about it. Just wanted to know if anyone else had the same problem. Thanks.

Are you using a ultra mount to uni mount conversion kit? I think you loose some height there.

No conversion, just straight up unimount. I mounted it so I would get the most ground clearance as possible, but it has nothing to do with how it bottoms out. It's so low I wouldn't dare travel with the blade angled.
