I Drive a 96 Ford F-350 PSD with a standard trans. in first gear when first starting out it will cut out . if I do not get the clutch in quick enough it will shut off. This only happens in 1 st gear. and leaves no codes any Idea's?

My first idea would be a wire that is shorting out (injector harness)when the engine torques over when in 1st. gear. The other gears do not cause the engine to torque over as much.

    Found the Problem

I found the problem it was the IPR (injector Pressure Regulator) the nut came off and was allowing the solenoid to slide back and forth.. I never would have guessed that one could happen and it would still run... keep this in mind incase it ever happens to you
