I have a 96 F250 Heavy Duty with a 5.8L that won't/ hard start at times. Seems to happen more when truck sits for awile or it rains. Truck has spark and fuel. Seems like it wants to start as soon as the key is turned off. Any Ideas???

  2. fuel pump??

You may be draining back fuel and losing pressure.

That doesnt explain the wet issue
Try parking the truck in total darkness ( no street lights) and spray
water over the ignition system while running and look for arcing.

    Check cap/rotor, plugs, wires

does it crank slow when warm ??
