ok, i have a friend that is in need of some technical advise and expertise
he is replacing the t-case in his 95' silverado,2500, 241c, 5 speed, has the yoke at the t-case output shaft to the front axle, the one he got fron the salvage yard has the plate instead of the yoke, will this work? the donor t-case is from an 92-93, everything seems to look the same, except for the plate type driveshaft connection. if he was to go back and get that front driveshaft, would it bolt in? his yoke end off original t-case won't work because shaft is too long. sorry for the long post, hope i covered it all, thanks

Yes simply use the other front D-shaft and it's a direct bolt in. Of course thats also assuming that they're both manual or both electricity shifted of course too.
