I have a question about my 2011 sierra 2500 crew cab. I currently have an 8' pro plus. I have a chance to pick up an almost brand new 9' pro plus. For me the extra width is great because it kicks me that much further away from the soft edges of the roads I plow, mailboxes, trees etc... Weight is a little less than 40lbs more. Anyone running that plow on a similar truck ? Thanks

You'll be fine. A lot of guys run heavier blades then that on the older ifs design, some also have the diesel motor.

I have a 9.2 Boss Poly V, the duramax motor, and over size tires on the weaker front end (2006) and it gets along fine.
