    Hey,
My 9 pin truck side plug gave up and I was able to get a 12 pin plug for
Cheap. I did a pin out test and found that the 9 pin has multiple wires run on
Some pins, does anyone know if I can just join all those wires together and then
Attach to the new plug, or is there something else I should be doing?
Just want to use the 12 pin plug to replace the broke 9 pin.
    Thanks

Will the 12 pin even fit into the 9 pin ? Double ck that....I'm pretty sure they won't fit together

I just looked at that, and no they won't. That was my helpful Western dealer that said i could splice the 12 pin on and use it. Can the plow and truck side 9 pin plugs be swapped to 12 pin easy enough? Wait time to get 9 pin repair end is ridiculous nevermind the price.

Ok. Glad I/we could help. Sometimes the "cheep" way ain't always the best/right way
