I currently have a 8ft mm2 on my truck, I am thinking in the offseason of looking for a used stainless x blade in good shape, can I do this upgrade without changing any truck side wiring?

As long as the X-Blade isn't a Fleet Flex plow, it'll work perfectly fine.

Ok thanks for the reply, they didn't start fleet flex until 2011 ? So a blade from 09 or 10 should be ok ?

You can switch out the moldboard for the x blade also. Another option,

Even some new plows still aren't Fleet Flex because dealers still have leftover 3 plug setups. I still like the 3 plug more, something about having a bunch of modules on the plow keeps me away, thats why my HT never plows unless its really truly needed.
