    How much weight?

How much weight should I put in the bed of my 1/2 ton, to off set the plow in the front? I am guessing about 500LBS. Going to use sand tubes.

I have 8-60LB sand tubes in my 89 K1500 shortbox and I have a 550LB blizzard 760LT. 500Lbs sounds good to me, but depending on the weight of your plow you might need a little more. I have really wide tires 265 75R16 and it doesn't do too well in the snow. It looks like you have bigger tires as well. Let me know how well it does. I am considering getting new tires. Anyone have any suggestions?
