86 F350 with plow F/S

    86 F350 4x4 Dana 60 front axle, 4.10 gears,single wheel pickup in good shape with western 7.5 plow and 3" body lift. It has $3000 into a fresh 460 and $800 into a fresh c-6 auto trans, Needs some finishing $5000 obo located in eastern pa ..Email zrt800@ptd.net phone 570 223 6769 ..Bill

    Well I guess I will try to sell it whole .. If not it is worth more than the $5k in parts. But I would rather not get into parting it out..

    I agree, that can be a pain in the rear. Good luck. Those are my favorite year Fords.

    I think it would be worth $5000 to someone that know how to do the work to finish her off. I think you have a great start and just needs a little TLC. $5000 doesn't buy too much of a plow truck these days, especially not one with the parts that you have already put in it. Good luck with the sale.

    I don't want to hi jack this thread, but in 1996 I bought a 1986 F250 with 43k original miles with an 8 foot Fisher for $3500.00 It was my first truck.. F350's in this year are hard to find, but a new tranny and engine make the truck worth atleast 3500-4000k.

    you said single wheel pickup, does this mean its a 2wd??
