I have never plowed with a 1/2 ton before but this truck is hard to pass up.No plow as of yet and the truck was well cared for; has a 318 and limited slip rear.Is there anything I should check for or does anyone know of any problems with this model? Thanks, thartz

I answered your other post in the snowplowing discussion forum.

That would make a good plow truck, even for a half ton,due to the solid front axle.Adding an extra leaf up front,or using Timbrens will help carry the extra weight of the plow better.
