I am new to plows and am looking at one (because of the price "free"). I have a friend parting out an 85 chevy with a plow and he told me I could have it if i want but how close will it be to fitting a 94 chevy? It is an older meyer and i know i could go do some mesuring but the rig is a ways away if i go to mesure i would like to bring it back for the trip i take. any info would be great and i am not afraid of doing some modifing (I hve a welder and tools)

85 Plow will most likely be a conventional.
Good luck trying to find a mount for it. Sometimes free ain't "free". A old conventional could cost you more in the long run than you think.
