Anyone know a cheaper alternative to replacing the cutting edges on an 810 and anywhere else to get them other than my local dealer??

the carbides are from a company or jerre in erie have them started last yr selling them and welding them to the wing edges gets more life out of the edges

Carbides are definitely worth the money! I got 2 1/2 years out of the set on my lopro with carbides! Urethane wing edges and 5/8's main edge seem to be slowing wear also, and it's way nicer to plow with...

That is what he is talking about. The Winter's are worth their weight in gold! Plus when they wear you can cut them off and put new ones on!

Ground Specialist. Do you take the whole plow there and does it matter that it is worn down almost to the plow? and by the way did you get the Wiseways in Porter county??

we took the whole plow there the first time. now they have the template. amazing people to work with. and yes, we did get the wiseways in porter county. also, you can't convince me that a poly edge will scrap better than a good old fashion steel.

Thanks Grounds Specialists. I will call wegners tomorrow. Also, if you have any interest in subbing out either the calumet wiseway or the chesterton wiseway let me know. Thanks
