Looking for a 80 Amp Continous Duty Solenoid I need it to run my Salter. I just have it on a switch.

I burned out a cheap plow solenoid ( now that i think about it I realize that it is only for momentary use) and I called Smith and they said to use a 80 Amp continous duty solenoid.

Any ideas? Dealer had no idea what I needed without a part number.

    Thanks

Trombetta, p/n 114-1211-010. Last one you'll even need to buy.

Just the contact material, 010 is copper and 020 is silver alloy. Either one works well though and certainly far better than any generic solenoid for sure.

Oh okay, I have an extra 020 that I could overnight if the OP is in dire need.
