8' Pro plow on 1/2 ton Chevy?

    Is a 700 lb 8' Pro plow too much weight to be putting on a classic (88-98) body style Chevy 1500 series?

    88-98 trucks are stout. I've done it and would recommend it. It's really what, 50 lbs heavier than a 7.6"?????

    My vote is that you can do it.....
    I've seen it done.
    IMO, it may wear certain things a bit faster but so will a 7'6", but it's all about the operator.....

    You can do it...I wouldn't. I think a 7'6" is all the more a 1/2 can handle
