Have a 760LT Blizzard, drivers side low beam headlight keeps blowing fuse. Any idea what could cause this?

    Blowing the truckside fuse?
Is this for the truck or when the plow lights are hooked up?
    What truck?
    Predd blizzard or DD blizzard?
    New or existing install?

The fuse on the truck blows. 2008 Ford F150. The plow is 5 years old. The dealer install guy laughed and told me "not covered anymore". He said could be a short in plow wiring, but I see no burnt wires. The light on the plow driver's side also wont come on. Only drivers side affected.

    Douglas dynamics owned blizzard.

Does your light bar stay with the truck or the plow?

Yes, it is douglas dynamics. Light bar is on plow frame.

Well.I would start by looking at the plow harness going to and from the drivers headlight.
Was anything done to the truck recently?
Is this when the plow is hooked up only?

nothing done to truck lately. as soon as you turn headlights on, drivers side fuse blows. with or witout plow hooked up.

After you inspected the plow harnesses, I would unplug the truck wiring from the plow wiring, then turn on, see if fuse blows.
That would eliminate truck wiring issue or plowside wiring.

i did unplug the plow wiring from truck. lights worked fine. must be in plow wiring somewhere. i was told that a power probe 2 can detect a short in wiring, to try that.

D, you need to stop asking this question. It really doesn't matter who built the plow. A better question would be "Does your truck have any isolation module under the hood?"

yes, truck has a 3 port isolation module. went to dealer, hooked up a brand new one to see if it would still blow fuse. it did.

So it's gotta be the plow side wiring
