hey guys just wondering, are the trannies the same between the two, a 93 yukon 4x4 auto and a 93 gmc 2500 6.5 diesel 4x4?? is it possible to put the gas tranny into the diesel?

No, the Yukon will have the 4L60E while the 2500 will have the 4L80E. That diesel would destroy that trans. If you found a gas 2500 it will also have the 4L80E which would be fine behind the 6.5

Im not 100% sure on a 1500 diesel. More than likely it will also have the 80E, but I dont know too much about what all was in them, etc
