If you are in the snow plowing biz YES! If your only going to the drive-in movies on Friday night NO!

I can't imagine how the extra couple thousand wouldn't be worth it. 4x4 has come in handy several times even in the summer.

If you have enough snow your truck will eventually not be able to push it without the tires spinning. The 4x4 will get you out of that jam. So you need the 4 wheel drive. You may not use it 100% of the time, but you have it when needed.

The cost of not having 4x4 and having to call a tow truck to get me out every time I would get stuck vs. the extra cost of buying a truck with it.

There are times I can't get into my driveway without it.

Why buy a truck that you know is going to get stuck?

2wd trucks are for slamin' to the ground and cruising around town. My work trucks have always been 4x4's, I wouldn't have it any other way.
