I am having a problem with my 4 wheel drive in m y90 3/4 ton chevy.

I put a new eletronic plunger unit it this past fall. I lifted the truck so all the wheels could turn freely. The front universal turned when I engaged the 4 wheel drive, but the front wheels did not turn....When the floor stick moves back into the 4x4 position it makes a clicking noise like it is in gear. But action

Does anyone have a answer for me..

IF THE FRONT DRIVESHAFT SPINS IN 4WD BUT THE AXLES ARENT
CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE POSITIVE POWER AND GROUND
TO THE PLUNGER IF YOU DO REMOVE PLUNGER PUT IN 4WD AND SEE IF THE PLUNGER MOVES IF NO MOVEMENT POSSIBLE BAD PLUNGER

warn has a new kit that is cable actuated for the front diff.it is suppose to be a positive lock rather than a HEAT ACTIVATED SWITCH.

if you find this to be a problem maybe you should consider this option.
