Hi. I hear a rough sound from my drivers side front end whenever I try to drive in 4x4 mode on my 04 Sierra 1500. It almost sounds like a bearing with no grease. There is no sound in 2wd. The 4x4 engages fine, it lust makes a grinding/rubbing sound. It's not the tires.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

The truck has 160,000 KM. I'll try Hamelfire's suggestion tomorrow.
Thank you both very much for the quick reply.
