4x4 and heater operation

    I am haveing a time with my 4wheel dr and heater I have changed out the ac/heater control and the pump is ok i am down to the solenoid next to the vac.pump have unhooked it and oluged the vac. line off and It seems to take care of the problum. can I leve the plug in it so the heater works till i can get some where to buy one?

    Heat only coming out the defrost?


    If so, you have a vacuum leak, could be the vacuum line going to either steering knuckle if you have the Electronic Shift on the Fly 4x4.

    Definately a vacuum leak. The hubs will not lock and the heat will default to defrost.
