4 Wheel drive went out on 99 2500 (OBS)

    Well, the title says it all... We had some poppin and grindin while turning sharp, turned it off to give it a break, turned it back on, and the front wheels arent working right... Any ideas?

    Likely, the electric actuator on the front diff has failed.......

    Sounds like the front actuator for sure. A real quick patch job is to pull the actuator out of the axle, put a lug nut in the opening, and put the actuator back in. You may need to rotate the driveshaft slightly to get the CAD lined up. Piece of cake, works great. You would not, should not, get to work late....
