Well my 9.6 MVP w/wings showed up today

So I started to assemble the plow side took under 3 hrs From start to finish

    I'm putting it on 2015 XLT 6.2 F350 chassis

Few weeks back the Cannonball Bed was installed

Here is few pics I took as I was assembling the plow from the crate.

Some reason they set me a bottle of Fisher fluid.

Sunday I may do the truck side maybe unless I go Coyote Hunting instead. Then be next week when I start on it.

This rig is the farm rig so only use it more for a back up or in a blizzard storm. So it will take my 09 MVP plow and I will mount this plow on my 99 F350 DRW
I going run the new plow more and let old plow rest

    Enjoy

My labor is free Plow with wings I bought tax and shipping 5845.00

What ever a dealer charges for install + 2 hr drive to the dealer + waiting for it to get done then drive home

Looks good. Why the plus instead of the 3? Not enough snow to need to be able to windrow with the 3?

I don't know I already had a plus Parts will inter change Like skins Center pins , Wings
Less parts I have to stock up on

I don't windrow and be lucky get over 10 mph might hit 15 That Wing 3 works more if you go little faster to throw it

I could have bought one from the same dealer for same price as the plus To get me a plow sooner but I waited for the plus

So think it was about the parts more then anything.

If I think I need a flare wing for a job I make the flare part or upgrade 02 8.6 pro plus to a MVP3

    LOL
    I do Lots no roads
If wideout had a trip edge I own one

V plows work better You can do so much more with them
V plows stacks better then a straight plow

I will agree the stack better , not sure what else they do better. Never had a trip edge but used one before nothing special i thought.

Tripe edge you don't loose forward motion you don't loos snow
I still have 1 Full trip Pro plus that is on my 2002 F350 running that you better hold on when you hit cracks With a trip edge all you hear is bang

Use one everytime it snows then switch back you will know the difference

I ran my 2009 MVP since it was new after owning one I not going back to a full trip

Now my Skidsteer blade its a Straight but its a Trip edge I bought it fall of 2013 and in a skid forward motion you don't want to loose
Back in the day From 81 to 09 I ran full trip plows if you ask me then I would said full trip I was dumb then Trip edge is the key

I will confess on my Boss V, I have my trip springs tightened down to keep it from flopping over. It pretty much cant trip, If I had the DXT id make it so it can't full trip at all.
