350 oil pump torque number

    does anyone know the foot pounds of torque required when putting in a new oil pump? i don't want to over crank it for fear of snapping it off while driving. i believe the number is 45 but i want to know for sure.

    shop manual says 65 foot pounds.

    65 foot-pounds of torque for the oil pump securing bolt according to my shop manual.
