Hi & thanks for any replies in advance.

    I just bought a 2011 f350.
truck came with an 8 ft fisher plow. MM2.

Im not familiar with this plow as my last was a blizzard.

This Fisher plow I have on the truck is making alot of noise when moving, especially when raising it. Its almost like a clanking noise (best I could describe)

Not sure if this has something to so with the chains or if it lacks oil.

When moving left to right, doesnt make any noise except for the regular whining noise that the motor normally sounds like.

When dropping the plow down, she falls very very fast, it just drops.

Again, this is my first fisher & Im happy to learn more about it
    Any advice is appreciated.

It will be going in for service next week.

Packing nut may be too tight on lift ram. There is a quill adjustment to control drop speed.

For the most part, the creaking is normal. Make sure there's no cracks and the pivot bolt isn't loose.
