I understand some objections but if you get paid for your time why not go slow and do the job? Under 3 inches no liability what's so wrong
I have an apartment complex that was 3 inch trigger not sure if I want to bid

After that all my places are 1 inch trigger

If you've got a three inch trigger how much snow will be on the other sites before you get to them? You could easily be pushing six inches by the time you got to your last site. I'd rather not get that far behind the storm.

It's not just this lot it's a question in general
If I get this lot at 3 inches we are there plowing shoveling this place is 10 shovlers and 1 plow so not to worried about plowing and mostly old people who don't go any where while it snows
If you get your price on a per hour who cares what trigger is

    That's what I'm saying

Give them 2 prices. one how they want it and how it show be. Tell them take the difference and divide it by how many complaints they get and ask them if it worth it.

The problem with the higher triger is its going to get driven on more and turn to hard pack before you get to plow it. That is going to require more salt. Then if you just get 2 to 2.5 and dont plow and they blacktop showing thats going to require even more salt.

I know this whole contract is time and material so we can do what is necessary to get final results
And I agree the head aches and complaints will be a lot but they aren't moving on trigger and I explained if we get 2 inches one day and it isn't cleared then 2 days later we get an inch that isn't my problem either trigger goes from what's fresh fallen but again it's all time and material

Lol, Make sure salting is by the ton. Because with a3 inch trigger it will take a ton per acre to get that hard pack melted down

Bad juju written all over this one. T&M on a apt building. Chances are you'll dealing with some one who doesn't have a clue. Try explaining why the plowing is low compared to the super high salt price.

Is the 3" trigger on both walks and parking lot?

    What about any city walks?
