I've got a 2008 Dodge 2wd DRW 4500 dump truck that I'm considering putting to work this winter plowing. Great truck BTW. Anybody plow with this setup? Figure chains and 2-3 yard spreader in the bed might be okay. Am I crazy? Mainly commercial lots that I'll have other equipment at, so I figure if it gets stuck there will be help close by. Thanks

probably wont need chains, get a good set of rear tires and with a full spreader it will push fine, long as you lots are mostly flat. i really like those 4500's + 5500's from dodge. i hope to have one some day.
