First I am running an almost new 2008 29hdw.

1st time hooked up, everything worked as it should, raised blade, pulled out of garage and went to lower and nothing. Played with the power wire and it finally responded.

2nd time Pull truck up, connect power, turn on controller and nothing.

Did notice the oil level was just below the line. Filled that, put new batteries in controller. Fuse at truck good, ground is good. When I plug and unplug the main power it has a tick sound under the cover. Not sure if that is normal or not, but have noticed it every time.

Anything I am missing? Any suggestions? Thanks, Brent

It was batteries. Does everyone leave there controllers in a cold truck? Or take them in?

I leave mine in the truck. Probably isn't good for the batteries, but I'd hate to go pick up the plow which is 12 miles away, and found that I'd left the remote at home! Doh! I may or may not be speaking from experience :D
