Hi all. I have a '94 3500 SRW and I'm looking at a set of 285/75/R16 tires for it. Will I have any problems running these? I'm worried about them rubbing up front. I have the torsion bars already cranked a little bit. I also have newer style chevy aluminum rims on it ('00 and up I think) if that makes a difference. Currently I have 265/75/R16s on there now and no problems. Thanks.

I am looking forword to some replies as I am looking to upgrade from the stock 245/75/16 on my 98 Chevy. I am using stock steel wheels though. There should be many replies as there are a bazilllion of these trucks out there.

well they better fit cuz I already bought them haha. just happened to find a set of 4 on CL with 200 miles on them for $150 for the set. Guy had them on his Silverado (which had a 3" body lift) and didnt like how loud they were and after 200 miles bought a new set. He said I was the first to call and in the hour between when I called and picked them up he had 18 more calls on them. If they don't fir, I'll re-sell them shouldnt be hard to make my money back.

285 will fit, just crank the torsion bars and you will be set to go.

I have 285 on my 04 2500 hd. I trimed the plastic on the bumper a little bit to make sure they cleared and I hace had no troubles. FYI, dont get firestones, they suck for tread life.
