i know this has probably been done before but i can't find it...
new 2012 2500hd snow plow prep, z71 heavy duty trailering, 3.73, z75 suspension
im getting a new western plow with it and have to decide between
8.0 pro plow vs. wide out.
    HELP.
i need to decide and tell dealer by tomorrow

my concern is if the truck had the stock FGAWR of 4800 they wouldnt put the wide out on
but this truck has a 5200 fgawr so the quickmatch includes the wide out.
plow dealer said its up to me but if i was having someone else plow with it go straight blade
but i will be using this truck/plow 95% myself.
my concern is reliability and added weight.
    8.0 pro weight is 668lbs
    wide out is 940lbs
272 more pounds on front end.

my use now is mixed commercial, small private road development, residential driveways.
i am looking to do more commercial work and phase out the driveways.
    thanks everyone

Good Choice, you wont be disappointed. I have a Fisher XLS on a 2004 Chevy 2500 so you will be fine. Thumbs Up. When are you picking it up?
