How many leaf spings does each tire have to it on your 2500 and 3500 trucks. Woundering as I did a spring upgrade to 047/048 combo on my 2500 and the rear now sits lower than the front. Today when I picked up 5 60lb bages of cold patch at HD the truck really went down in the back. Ouch thats only 300lbs total. It never saged in the back till the front was upgraded:confused:

'01 Dodge 3500 Dump has 6 per side attached to frame with 1 additional U-shaped for heavy loads per side ~ hope this helps.

I've got a 94 2500, it has 4. I also have the 47/48 spring combo, and it sits level with 600 lbs of ballast in the back. Maybe yours has seen some heavy trailer duty? What kind of truck do you have?
