Just finished up the install on my 2015 F450 with a 9.2 Boss DXT. Should have the deflector on as soon as it gets to me. I will get some better pictures in the day time and hopefully in some SNOW!!

Building a 325 gallon Wireless Controlled Sprayer to go on the back. Just waiting on some fittings to get here to finish it up.

Would like to thank Jim @ equipmentspecialistsinc.com for the hookup

Was it hard to get a 15' 450? I think that's going to be a huge hit for guys that pull trailers a lot.

I placed the order for it when ford opened the ordering portal for it. I believe it took about 5 months for it to come in. Mine was the first my dealership received. I think the cab/chassis f450's started hitting dealers a little faster.

I had a 2011 3500hd Duramax that was holding me over till I took delivery.

But this sucker tows like a dream!

Wow, that's a sweet setup. Correct me if I'm wrong but the cab and chassis models are still detuned?

All of the cab chases even on doge's are limited to 78 mph or something like that
    For some reason.

    That's a sharp looking plow

In use it as a tv stand. It's so purdy

The speed limiting is due to the 19.5" tires that come on those trucks. Even the F-450 truck that had the factory bed installed was speed limited due to 19.5's.

I think the intent of derating the hp/tq on commercial cab and chassis is more to prolong the longevity of the trucks. A F-250/350 pickup likely spends a lot of time empty and daily driven by the trucks owner (who's making payments). Let's face it, the power these pickup's are putting down is stupid, you really don't need that much power. It's just bragging rights.

A cab/chassis is a commercial truck being used for things like dumps, ambulances, stake bodes, and they're driven by someone who does not personally own the truck. By derating it keeps the hot dogging/flogging somewhat to a minimum Fleet owners want reliability not hp/tq bragging rights.

 I keep going back and forth. Ford, chevy , chevy and back to ford. Each has their good and bad but so far I am very happy with the f450.

That's my shop. You've probably seen my truck their as well. Know of any locals that sell liquid de-icer by the tote for a fair price?
