    Hi!
Just purchased a 2012 Silverado 1500, Z71 4x4 with ~8000 miles on it, the dealership put on a used Fisher HD 7'6" plow and Minuteman 2 mount included in the price for $29,900 - seemed like a decent deal to me, wondering what others think. I will only be plowing my driveway, which is about 1/10 of a mile.
    thanks!

    Looks like a heavy plow.

I think it is 670 lbs. I put on a set of Timbrens in the front to help (not installed at the time of this picture)

Timbrens do well, I use them too.

Do you take them off in the off-season? I noticed that they make the ride quite a bit stiffer, with mine they are in constant contact with the axle.

Leave them on. To much work taking on and off. You could crank the torsion bars a little to help with that as well

Yeah the new body styles have coils. Someone schooled me on here last year about it. Lol

I have Timbrens on my Tundra and so far I haven't noticed that they effected the ride at all. I have Bilstien 5100 series coil over as well so, that probably helps. The truck and plow look great by the way.
