I have spotted a 2006 Dodge regular cab 2500 4x4 with the hemi in it. It has just over 4000 miles and the price is just about right. I would like to add a Western plow to it as i have a dealer pretty close to where I work. I have 2 old Dodges and they work flawlessly in the snow.

My question is, are the automatics in them heavy duty enough to hold up to plowing?? It has a large trans cooler and I have planned to add a temp gauge if we get this bought.

Also if anybody has any pics of the truck side mounts I would really like to see them. I would like too see how everything is attached to the trucks frame.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mark K

I think the newer Dodges are getting better tranny's every year. I would not be afraid of it at all. I have had front end problems (i.e. ball joints & tie-rods) with my F-250 and I have plowed with Dodge 1500's and not had ANY problems so go figure. I want a Dodge!!!!:realmad:
