2005 looking for mounting advice .. I have an older arctic plow ..pre1998 in excellent shape and would like to mount it on my 2005. Looking for advice for mounting bracket and lift frame removal.. liftframe is of the older style that mounts to vehicle permanent and would like to make it removable.....looking for suggestions.... Arctic says about 4500 to change it over ........I might aswell buy a new one for that price

Especially since you can get any of the following for alot less

Brand new SnowDogg- about 3500.00 or less depending on if it is a md or hd
Used Western Midweight- for 3800.00 or less
Used Fisher SD for 3500.00 or less

I think the new Western goes for about 4300, the Fisher is around 4100 around here. Those prices are mounted..
