I need to remove the radio in my 2005 F550. I am hoping to install a GPS unit behind it. Does anyone know how to remove this radio? The 4 holes on the sides of earlier radios are not on this model. Also, any idea how much room is behind the radio? Is it the same as the 2004 F550 (on this model I had plenty of room to install the unit)? Thanks.

i believe you have to pull the panel that surround s the radio and the you will have acess to the radio there are 4 bolts that hold it in place

Yep, you need to pull the dash panel off and remove the 4 bolts.

    How big is the unit?

There is a little bit of room back there.
