    A guy is selling a 2004 3500 Dually Duramax LLY 114k miles, 8.5 Boss, and V box

The bad ,turbo all ripped apart for cleaning because a code says cant read the veins

He started to remove the turbo but couldnt get the bottom 4 bolts out

What the hell does that mean, shall I buy this thing or what

Im willing to pay the right guy to fix it

The bottom 4 bolts are hard to get out. I'm assuming it's an LLY then which is much better then a LB7. It could also just be the vane position sensor on top of the turbo. I'd be very leary buying a truck that isn't running. Do you mind sharing what he wants for the truck?

I would pay $4500 for it.

Hell you could part it out and make that back easy.

I'd love to make it into a pull truck for that price.

I appreciate all the input, heres some more about the truck

    needs all tires
    needs back brakes
    dually fenders are busted up
interior needs major cleaning and a headliner
    tailgate all dented up
    transfer tank not included
    5th wheel hitch included
    Allison Auto
NEW interstate batteries, fuel filter, front brakes

That spreader is about shot and worthless, plow is about 3-4 yrs old... he says
Towing from Md to Pa is $600

    Still worth it at $4500?

If you don't want it I'll buy it. I don't really care about any of that stuff, I'm just going to strip it down and make a pull truck out of it. To be honest if you can do some of the work your self the truck is a deal if you have to pay some one you'll be into a pile of money.

is there a way to check codes just to see what it was throwing before the turbo was off?
